Garden Plowdown

Our Garden Plow Down Cover Crop is ideal for green manure and soil building. This annual mix of legumes and cereal grains will provide fast growing ground cover, compete with weeds, and fix nitrogen in the soil. This mix should be tilled into the soil during the flowering stage before it goes to seed to prevent the plants from reseeding themselves.

Mix Percentages:

• 40% Austrian Winter Peas
• 30% Fall Cereal Rye
• 15% Cereal Buckwheat
• 15% Common Vetch

• Acre: 90-120 lbs
