Selected from old stands of Ladak subjected to extreme drought and dryland conditions, Ladak DL is pre-inoculated, disease resistant, and is ideal for spring and fall grazing out-yielding Ladak 65 in Montana and Idaho field tests by more than one ton per acre. Ladak DL leads to higher milk production in cattle with a higher relative forage quality (RFQ) and total digestible nutrients (TDN) than Vernal alfalfa. Controlled tests show over 50% better survival than other varieties under extreme dryland conditions.
